Camboang Beach (Sea, Dumanjug, Cebu)

Dumanjug has not been blessed with white sand beaches just like our neighbouring towns, Ronda, Moalboal and Badian Beaches.

Here in Dumanjug, Cebu, some of the shores now are being developed, (cleaned and poured some white sands) time has passed, there are already many completed well-developed beaches that allows you to dip seawater without worrying the sea urchins. Dumanjug Seas are known for Fishing and corals. Sea urchins are quite popular in our place.

Anyway, Camboang Beach is a low budget resort with bigger rocks, not the white sand type but sure enough, you and your family will enjoy and love it. The water is clear and clean and it is near in the fish sanctuary.

You don't need to go far just to enjoy a day with your family at the beach, just go to Camboang sea and you'll surely want to come back.

Miraculous Healer Shrine in Cebu: Lindogon, Simala (Mama Mary Shrine)

There is one Monastery in Cebu that is known for Miraculous Healing and all your prayers will be answered. This Monastery lies in the Mountain of Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu.
History says that in the year 1996, a group of Religious Marian Monks were guided and sent by the Holy Spirit through Mama Mary's intercession, to Cebu Archdiocese to better understand and deepened their calling. With God's grace, they were given permission by his Eminence Ricardo Cardinal Vidal to land in his Archdiocese.

Fast Forward, the monks settled in the barren and abandoned hills of Lindogon, Simala, Sibonga, Cebu. Their start was not an easy one but with the help of our Holy Mother, they were able to establish and build a Castle-like Monastery on those barren hills and up to this moment, the construction is still ongoing.

Many reports says that a lot of Mama Mary's devotees have witnessed her miracles from the shedding of tears especially during her birthdays, from the crippled people's testimonies who have been healed and were able to walk, from healing of all their diseases and students passing their board exams and land a good job and everything that you have asked through the intercession of our Holy mother.

Some tips for men and women when Going there:

1. For Women, Please better wear Long dress or Knee level shirts/dresses. This can make Mama Mary happy if she sees all the women be like her. In this way, I think in my own opinion, your prayers will surely be answered.

2. For women, do not wear shorts (have respect to mama mary), sleeveless.

3. For Men, do not wear shorts also, just formal pants is okay.

4. It is best if you have already went to the confession room before going to the Monastery. Sometimes, our prayers will be answered if our HEARTS are clean and no barriers at all of receiving God's Grace. Our Sins are the barriers why until now we have not received what we asked for. God's grace are always there but the recipient is not able to receive it because of our sins.

What's important, is when you prayed, your heart is sincere and selfless. Mama Mary is looking each one of us when we kneel before her while we pray. Trust me.

Magellan's Cross, Cebu City - Cebu Tourist Attraction

Magellan's Cross
Magellan's Cross is one of the top-tourist destination in Cebu City. It is located at the back of Santo Niño Church. History said that, when Magellan first set foot on Cebu Island, he put a cross on the shore as a sign and a beginning of Christianity in the Philippines.

As hearsay, the original cross that was planted by the Spanish Explorer was kept inside the Basilica to preserve.

Many people also come here not just for picture taking but some tourists are catholics, they would just light a candle outside of this cross and say their own prayer.

Devotees and Candle Vendors wear their red and white uniforms can also perform a Sinulog dance with Prayer offered by you---or your family to our Holy Child, Sr. Santo Niño.

You can also ask the Candle Vendors to take you a good picture. Don't worry, they take good pictures as if they are Trained to do so. You won't regret it.
